Vision Statement

In my 6th grade social studies classroom, technology empowers every learner to explore, analyze, and communicate ideas about people, places, and events with confidence and curiosity. Students use digital tools purposefully to investigate authentic questions, collaborate respectfully, and create meaningful work that connects past and present. Guided by Douglas County’s digital literacy goals and ISTE standards, our tech use is safe, equitable, and focused on deepening understanding, not just completing tasks.
